@kusu – a linux driver has been out for ages as far as I know (you could certainly buy fast openCL machines running linux). The trick is OSX is going to be using it for it’s crunching (not just specific apps) so there will apparently be massive speed improvements.

This isn’t a Linux thing but a driver one.
NVIDIA is already testing a OpenCL capable Linux driver:

I think that It is much easier to change Default home page in the Administer -> Site configuration -> Site information.

I actually haven’t had any issues with this sitemap module and am using it actively on my site at http://www.360matches.com. It works as expected – including great integration with CCK and Views. I would like to have greater control over the change frequency value as I think it gives some pages “daily” which could be a bit misleading to the search engines since those pages don’t change on a daily basis.

Thanks Tim,
I can certainly see how it’s a bit risky for business, but if we can use something that’s so feature rich in science and data, as you say, why not!?!
Google does stuff well, and they are certainly more open than some so I don’t mind too much if they have my data – I mean the UK government has my data and seems to be losing that left right and centre too!

There are some I guess who are concerned that by running google analytics, it empowers google with detailed information about sites, their usage and users’ usage history… now for an online shop for example who puts goal conversions on their sales page, google all of a sudden find out which shops are successful – a quick analysis of why it is successful, and hey presto, that information is worth a lot to he online shops competitors…
Now for those doing science research and free data sites, it’s super useful, that’s for sure!

The graph shows a trend ,but I do not understand for what OS we talk about,on the curves there is no legend.

I’m afraid I haven’t tried this yet – I just did the blog post to remind myself about it when I come to need it. You need to get drupal installed in the first place, and the installation process looks straightforward – I’ll let you know if I try to get it working. Take a look at the instructions on http://drupal.org/project/mapbuilder.
